[do xorns eat rust monsters?] Two obvious rules for deciding which attacker to kill first: 1. Kill the one that does more damage. 2. Kill the one that will die sooner. Occasionally the rules don't conflict: Kill the hobgoblin rather than the gnome. They are equally tough to kill, but the hobgoblin does more damage. Kill the yeti rather than the centaur. They do equal damage [not quite true in V5], but the yeti is easier to kill. But usually they do. In that case, just try to minimize the damage you will suffer. For instance: Kill the orc rather than the centaur. The orc does about 2/3 as much damage as the centaur, and is much easier to kill. Kill the troll rather than the mimic.
