I've gotten some heavy response in regards to my
posting about a font to play rogue on a GIGI. But it's
the end of the term here and I won't have time to mail out
individual responses. So I'll answer some questions about
the font here and if you want a copy I've posted it to
net.sources.
Rogue font replaces the symbols in the game with
meaningful graphic representations i.e. a flask for a
potion, a treasure chest for gold, a little man with a
sword for your character, etc...
The font was designed on a VMS system and ported over.
I will have a more comprehensive version completed in a few
weeks. The present version is just a test. It doesn't include
the whole monster set.
If you already contacted me I'll send you the new
version as soon as I get it up. If you have any comments
questions or criticisms my address for the summer is below.
