Subject: ROGUE SAVED GAME FIX.

That destroyer of games, especailly just after you pick up
a two handed sword, and have a shimmering golden plate armor, can
be foiled by doing a stty command before playing rogue. Movements
( on 5.3 ) are ^H, ^J, etc. One of these is ^Y ( for up left ).
This is also the default dsusp (delayed suspend) character in stty,
in the c shell. What is happening is the ^Y gets through to the
shell, which then does the nasty things to you.
To fix, write a shell script that does a stty dsusp u susp u
before invoking /usr/games/rogue. We have Data General terminals
also, which use ^M as part of the cursor movement string. Therefore
we have to stty nl in order to get a decent looking screen, or curses
screws up.
