[comp.lang.scheme.c] Compiling SCHEME on a CDC Cyber

01696@AECLCR.BITNET (Chris Tanner) (12/19/89)

I am trying to install SCHEME on a CYber 990 running NOS/VE. This system
has a SVID (like) shell that it calls VX/VE. When I try to 'make' scheme, I
get the error from the C compiler:

   "Psbtobin.c", line 685: compiler error: no table entry for op REG

My m.h file contains the lines:
#DEFINE PROC_TYPE PROC_TYPE_UNKNOWN

My s.h file contains the lines:
#define HAVE_CURSES
#define LIBS_SYSTEM -lcurses

#define SOURCES_SYSTEM unixprim.c
#define OBJECTS_SYSTEM unixprim.o

Any help in resolving this compiler would be appreciated. I am fairly new to
the C language.

Please reply to be direct, I am not yet on this list.

Thanks in advance.
