[comp.lang.scheme.c] Building cscheme on an apollo

hanche@imf.unit.no (Harald Hanche-Olsen) (01/13/90)

Did anyone out there try to build cscheme on an Apollo? I did,
following the instructions in documentation/Install.unx, and got as
far as running etc/make_runtime, with these results:

   Scheme Microcode Version 10.86
   MIT Scheme, unix [bsd] version

Microcode Error: Bad error handlers vector.
   Error code 0xd (ARG-1-WRONG-TYPE).

   **** Stack Trace ****

     ...: [NULL 0x2]
     ...: [PRIMITIVE BINARY-FASLOAD]
     ...: "make.bin"
   Return code: [RETURN_CODE PCOMB2_APPLY]
   Expression: [PCOMB2 0x117044]
     ...: ()
   Return code: [RETURN_CODE END_OF_COMPUTATION]
   Expression: ()

   No error handler.

Comments? Am I just plain stupid to think I can do this on an Apollo?
(Hope not - we are running SR10.1 and it is much more Unix-like than
earlier releases). Anyone knows what is happening? Please respond
directly to me - I understand this list is not for general discussion.
