Newly converted ex-Unix hacker desparately misses gnu emacs (or any emacs for that matter). The V manual that I have mentions 'vemacs', but long-timers here at Rice said that it didn't work so they threw it away. Even if it didn't work, someone must have made some progress on a port or we never would have heard of it. I would be glad to spend some time this summer completing the port etc. etc. if someone could show me where I could get the sources up to this point.
