Hi, Here, we got a V System distribution tape some time back. We have problem in installing the system. The problem is in building the various files. Presumably, we don't have the "build" program in the distribution sent to us. We used the "buildmake" program which generates a "makefile" by combining "buildfile" and /including "buildtemplate" and "dependencies". When we do a "make" on this makefile, it does not compile. I recall that while I was earlier at the Univ. of British Columbia, we used a "build" program (generated from "build.c") which processes "buildfile" and compiles the required program without the intermediate "makefile". Can you pls arrange to e-mail us the source for the "build.c" and any other relevant files? This will be quite helpful for us to proceed with our installation of the system. K. Ravindran Asst.
