Anyone know of any precautions I should take when moving an Explorer from one building to another via truck? (Aside from making backups.) Thanks. _MS -- seibert@xn.ll.mit.edu ...!{ames,mit-eddie,seismo,linus,lll-crg}!ll-xn!seibert

Explorers are road-tested tough. I've had very good experience moving Explorers by car (Volvo, RX7, and nameless rentals). The processor goes in the back, the monitor gets strapped into the passenger seat facing backwards, and the disk drives go on the floor. If I was driving the truck myself, I'd just tie Explorer down in the back of the truck and not worry about it. If I didn't know anything about the truckers I'd repack the Explorer in its original boxes. -- Byron
