Oops, I've been very remiss in getting back to you all about the plan for getting together. The majority of those who replied seemed to think that it would be better/more fun to go out for a pizza. People seemed to think that non-blue-suited TI tech types would be worth having too. TI have said that they'll dedicate one of the rooms in their block for us to play in after our pizzas. They'll be bringing back an Explorer from the show floor for us so this is your oportunity to show the rest of the world what neat things you've been doing without having to do formal demos like they have on the show floor. Anyway, I'd guess that most people would be more interested in environment extensions than random new "AI" shells. I could be wrong though. The machine's going to have lots of discs and a tape drive and will, of course, be at least an Explorer II a + if we're lucky, so bring a tape with a load band or some stuff to make-system and we should be well away. Bottom line: 7pm tuesday 22nd in the lobby of the main conference hotel [Westin]. Rolled up copies of the Times and whit carnations in buttonholes will help identification. Rice. Does anyone know what the weather's going to be like? Should I onlybring shorts or only down jackets?
