I still have not received an answer to my last note for calling directly Lightspeed/think C/Pascal from the microExplorer via RPC. I believe there is a way to call lightspeed C code from MPW version 3. But of course, the libraries provided with the microExplorer only work for MPW C version 2 (murphy's law). Is there a library that enables calling MPW C version 3 via RPC that I could obtain freely? Second question : I need to call a specific Hypercard stack from the Lisp environment. The only way I know about is to use the select-mac-application function to do context switching, but this function does not let you pass arguments to hypercard to reference a given stack/given card on the stack. The official answer is: You cant do it because of the mac. The official answer is not very accurate since there is a Hypercard-Allegro CL interface which lets you do just that. Has anyone developed a XCMD/XFN that lets you interface Lisp and Hypercard and extend the possibilities offered by HyperLisp? If not, can the C SOURCE code for HyperLisp XFN be made available by TI?
