I need help locating a diag/setup diskette for the Texas Instruments business Pro computer. This is an MS-Dos/or TI-Dos tower system with 14 slots and a 80286 processor. It was built in 1986. It was donated to me by an organization no longer using them. When the setup memory batteries are dead or removed, the system reverts to T.I.-Dos mode, and will not boot an MS-Dos Floppy. The batteries were very dead in mine. Hence the setup memory is looking for a specific TI-Business Pro Boot Disk or Diag Disk. I was told by T.I. that the diag disk will permit a mode change to MS-Dos mode so that it will boot generic Ms-Dos. However, they want 100 Dollars for the diag disk. I would SINCERELY appreciate any help locating a diag or setup disk for this machine. I do not want to buy the diskette from TI, only to find out that the machine is beyond repair. However, if the machine is good, I do not mind investing something in it. This is a catch-22 situation. Any advice is welcome at this point.
