[comp.sys.ti.explorer] rpc on a microExplorer

I believe that the libraries that are provided to do RPC on a microExplorer
only run for MPW Pascal 2.2. I know that they do not run under MPW 3 (most
of the libraries would have to be rewritten and it is unlikely that TI is
doing investing any efforts in that direction). I dont know for a fact that
you can directly link C code but there is no reasons why you shouldnt be able
to (at all rate, you can always write a small Pascal program that interface
the MPW C code with the microExplorer).

This actually brings an interesting question about the future of the microExer.

Since TI hasnt invested any work into integrating the mac world and the ti
world on the microExplorer since it was released (except for the TBI), will
they actually maintain it so that it will run under release 7 of the MacOS?
If so, it would be a good idea to provide interfaces to MPW C and Pascal rel 3
and also to Lightspeed/Think. A good clean foreign function interface (NOT
RPC) would also be great... If the bridge to Hypercard would also be maintainedthat would be super. What are the chances of seing this happen some day?
