where are the archives for this newsgroup? I just inherited an Explorer I, and need to upgrade the system software. I have tapes up to Version 3.2, but have 2.1 currently installed. The documentation says that you can't use the normal installation procedures unless you have revision 2.2 installed. Of course, this happens to be the only tape missing. We had a problem with our BBoard archives getting unilaterally blown away but we have the last 200 messages. As far as the machine is concerned, We're running Release 6.1 (!), so I'm tempted to suspect that you might want to skip a release or two. Rice.
