[alt.sources.amiga] MentalHangOver.zap

stimpsn@ccu.umanitoba.ca (Gary Stimpson) (03/14/91)

I downloaded the MentalHangOver.zap demo and it unpacks itself properly.
But when I load it I can't really see why everyone thinks its so great?
All it does is show the Scoopex title (while loading) and after that there
is some nice music and some stars flying around in the background. I click
on my mouse button(s), joystick buttons and hit every key on my keyboard but
nothing else happens.

Nice music though. I have an NTSC machine, that is probably why I can't
see anything else, eh? Oh well..

<You mean you used the Zap utility to unpack it, right? Ok, what version??
<I have 1.41 (I think) and it very annoyingly crashes! Could you either
<upload (to abcfd20.larc.nasa.gov of course) the version of zap you
<used, or just the demo compressed with another (better) cruncher (e.g.
<zoom, DMS, warp, lhwarp). Thanks!

zap_2.04.lzh can be found at uhccux.uhcc.hawaii.edu in ~amiga/Amiga/Util/Disk.
I don't know if it will help, but you may want to give it a shot.
