Is there any way to modify the bitmap of a screen opened by another application safely or semi-safely, or hack-ily safely? I would like to change the screens of my bulletin board program to print out data from another program running separately. I have no problem writing to the screen, but after I do so, I have problems opening and closing new screens, and I often get the GURU 8100000c after doing other tasks like trying to compile. I am using AMigaDOS 2.0 and I always lock the IntuitionBase w/ LockIBase before reading where the screen I want is located. I am NOT changing any data in it. Any help would be appeciated! R.
