Hi everyone, We are running large, and some small, simulation programs (weather models, geomechanics model, signal processing etc) on different multiprocessor systems. Lately it becomes necessary for us to present the numerical output of the runs on a colour graphics on X-window terminals. To explain it clearer, this is what we want to acheive: Some 'smart' X-Window software package | | | Numerical output from V Colour Visual Graphics application program -------> --------> Display on X-window runs | terminal | |---> Plotter/Laser-printer The numerical output may or may not in postscript form. What I like to find out is how to do it: Does such a 'smart' X-window software exist? If it does, or there is something similar, could you please email/reply to me? I heard that there was something like a 'postscript-to-sunview' software for the SUNs. Although I stated 'smart', I expect that some X-window programming would be involved. Could someone please help me? Please suggest any software that can do the job, or ease the task. I am VERY new in Graphics and X-window environment, so any advice will help. Your contribution will be very much appreciated. ____________________________________________ Pau Chang Laboratory for Concurrent Computing Systems Swinburne, John St., Hawthorn 3122, (Melbourne),Victoria, Australia. pau@stan.xx.swin.oz.au ____________________________________________
