Have any readers of Comp.lang.lisp heard of EUROPAL '90, The First European Conference on the Practical Applications of Lisp? I have, but only indirectly. I haven't seen anything in Comp.lang.lisp, Uk.lisp, or the Common Lisp mailing list. Nor has anything been sent to me directly. This surprises me, because I'm fairly well connected to the Lisp world, attend the ACM Conferences on Lisp and Functional Programming, and so on. I've received several copies of the call for papers for the next ACM conference. However, some other people I work with, who are less involved in Lisp than I am, have received copies of the call for papers and (more recently) of the conference announcement (and passed them on to me). Can it be that, for some reason, Lisp users such as myself are not a target of the conference organizers? What is the target audience? -- Jeff
