A friend sent me this after a late night rogue session. I found it amusing. If you do not, the bit bucket is that-a-way ---> . ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Ok David, Now I'm mad. We're talking a game that's in the bag. I'm on level 17. Believe it or not my armor class was 17. I had 66 hit points. I had over 10,000 experience points. The only thing that had hit me in the last three levels were tow medusas which I took out with no magic necessary. I just walked up to them and wiped them out. so, the system goes down. I save the game and lo what happens when I try to start it up again. YOU GUESSED IT! The old see the characters start printing on the screen bug. I HATE THE WHOLE WORLD! I don't really think there are any bugs in the program. All the things that would ordinarily be called bugs by normal programmers were put in by these sadists on purpose to make it impossible to win. The program probably monitors your armor class to see if it is too high. If it is...Well, we'll find a nice little bug to destroy your game and your whole day. Oh did I mention that I also had three scare monster scrolls and two teleportion scrolls and that my high strength was 21. Someday I'll get over this, but probably not in the near future. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Maybe he has a point, maybe the bugs are features, maybe they are SUPPOSED to be there!
