[comp.os.rsts] Account name - which call is it ?

alderaan@tubopal.UUCP (Thomas Cervera) (09/27/89)

Hi,

maybe I'm blind, but which call is it to get an account's name under RSTS V9 ?
I've looked up all the documentation (System Dricetives Manual, Programming
Manual and so on) but none of the calls (UU.RAD, UU.CHU, ...) seems to be the
one I'm looking for.
Any clues ? Is it only possible by directly accessing the UFD ?

The UU.RAD function is used to look up account attributes. Rather than
passing a channel number for file attributes, you pass magic negative
numbers for disk and UFD attributes. It's all in the manuals, or so I hope.

Oops... I meant UU.ATR, not UU.RAD in my previous post!
