What are the undocumented features of RSTS/E as at V9.7 ? The ones I know about are listed below: $ SET VERIFY/WATCH - Prints the CCL command executed when a DCL command that uses a CCL is executed. $ SET VERIFY/NOP - Parse DCL command but don't execute it. SET VERIFY/NONOP to disable. $ SET SYSTEM/DATE=STARDATE - Stardate date format. $ SHOW TIME Stardate 7415.40 09:46 $ HELP SPIKE $ MAKE LOVE - Teco make command if you don't Not war? use Teco. $ SHOW ACCOUNT/DEBUG - Dumps internal debugging info from ACTMGR. In addition to the ones you listed, I think many of the other xxxMGR utils accept /DEBUG (I know LATMGR does). ODT at the "Start timesharing" prompt loads ODT. The display register (front panel lights on a '70) displays the number of errors logged since startup. In addition to all these, there's lots of stuff which is "work in progress" for the next release. There's lots of that in V9.7, since V10 has lots of new goodies. Most of it is inaccessible unless you have a source kit, though. Terry Kennedy Operations Manager, Academic Computing terry@spcvxa.bitnet St. Peter's College, US terry@spcvxa.spc.edu (201) 915-9381
