[net.games.rogue] Aggravated Leprechauns?

mat@faron.UUCP (Michael A. Turniansky) (08/10/84)

Am I imagining things, or when hit by an "aggravated" Leprechaun,
did I lose a LOT more treasure than normal? I think was in the order of
500 gold out of 600, but I forgot to note what my treasure was before, so
I could be wrong. (version 5.3, by the by)

Mail only, PLEASE! Anyone (read: everyone) posting will face my +5,
+3 shurikens. If you feel you must post the answer, don't.

Well, in spite of everything, I'm posting the answer because I
feel that it is of general interest.

You will occasionally run into super-leprechauns that will steal
much more gold than the ordinary little leprechauns; whether
the leprechaun is aggravated or not does not appear to affect
how much loot it makes off with.
