I'm chairing a committee at my university that may propose new family leave policies, upon the birth or adoption of a child, for faculty and staff. We are interested in knowing what family leave policies are like at other universities. We are interested specifically in four variables for faculty members: 1. duration of leave 2. teaching load: relieved or not relieved? 3. salary: pay or no pay? 4. tenure clock: stopped or not stopped? We are also interested in oplicies for staff. If you could provide any information about your university (or company, for that matter), we would very much appreciate it.
