[comp.protocols.iso.x400] Where to start with X.400?

jdudeck@polyslo.calpoly.edu ("John R. Dudeck") (10/02/90)

Our university currently has nothing that uses X.400. Our Computer
Science department would like to obtain X.400 software that we can
install in our distributed computing laboratory so that we can study an
X.400 implementation. We are interested in the issues of migration to
X.400.

We have heard of M.PLUS, EAN, and the NSF Pilot Project, and we are
proceeding to make contact with their respective sources.

What other software packages should we be looking at? Which sources
are most oriented to the academic world?
