Does this news group have an archive site for past articles? Or at least, does anyone have this years or most of this years posts to this newsgroup? -- Jim Ray Harris Semiconductor Internet: jdr@semi.harris.com PO Box 883 MS 62B-022 Phone: (407) 729-5059 Melbourne, FL 32901 [Administrator's note: yes and yes. I recently changed the way message archiving is done for MHSNews/comp.protocols.iso.x400 so that the most recent messages are always available. The archives are available for anonymous FTP at ics.uci.edu [128.195.1.1] in the directory internet/mhsnews. size mod time file name 329583 Mar 23 1990 880430-900206.Z 223639 Oct 18 16:56 900212-901017.Z 182350 Dec 6 02:18 901018-present The names of the files reflect the range of message dates. The dates have the form yymmdd-yymmdd, where yy=year, mm=month, and dd=day. The files with .Z extensions are in compressed format; see compress(1) on UNIX and analogous utilities on other systems. Use binary mode to transfer these files. Messages in the archive files are delimited in MMDF format, using ^A^A^A^A<CR> ("\001\001\001\001\n" for you C buffs out there) at the beginning and end of each message. The most recent messages are in the file "901018-present". This file is not compressed; it is updated for each new message. -J. Sweet, mhsnews-request@ics.uci.edu]
