I'm after any info on UNIX based x.400 compliant mail products and application interfaces. My company is standardising on using DEC's x400 based All-in-1 mail products for PC's, Macintosh's & VAXen for our WAN email needs. Info for the UNIX side of the coin would be very helpful given the number of UNIX boxes flooding in here :-) ian -- Ian Hoyle /\/\ Image Processing & Data Analysis Group / / /\ BHP Research - Melbourne Laboratories / / / \ 245 Wellington Rd, Mulgrave, 3170 / / / /\ \ AUSTRALIA \ \/ / / / \ / / / Phone : +61-3-560-7066 \/\/\/ FAX : +61-3-561-6709 E-mail : ianh@bhpmrl.oz.au

Ian, Have your local HP sales rep. talk to you about OpenMail. Briefly, it's a *native* (i.e. not gatewayed) X.400 mailing system, that runs on a variety of Un*x platforms. Gateways to Sendmail, high performance, etc. etc... Oh, and it can use SMTP as a transport, too.
