mhsnews-request@ICS.UCI.EDU (Jerry Sweet) (04/11/91)
The mail system at ICS.UCI.EDU recently developed a minor bug with respect to messages sent to the North American MHSNews list, mhsnews@ics.uci.edu, aka comp.protocols.iso.x400. The problem is that messages sent through the MHSNews list are having their To fields rewritten with the host/domain of the message originator, thus creating un-repliable addresses. We apologize for the problem and hope to have it corrected soon. Here are the proper addresses to use, which you must manually insert into your replies (if they are infected with bad addresses) for the time being: Contributions To MHSNews From East of the Atlantic: mhsnews@uninett.no c=no; admd= ; prmd=uninett; o=uninett; s=mhsnews; Requests To Be Added/Deleted/Changed In The European Distribution List: mhsnews-request@uninett.no c=no; admd= ; prmd=uninett; o=uninett; s=mhsnews-request; Contributions To MHSNews From West of the Atlantic: mhsnews@ics.uci.edu (or, on USENET, post to comp.protocols.iso.x400) Requests To Be Added/Deleted/Changed In the North American Distribution List: mhsnews-request@ics.uci.edu s/ Jerry Sweet North American MHSNews list maintainer mhsnews-request@ics.uci.edu
