Has anybody successfully installed GNU Emacs 18.52 on an IRIS 4D, Trace or Tolerant? If so please me mail. For the IRIS 4D, the linker keeps complaining that "start" is undefined. Also, we couldn't find /usr/lib/crt0.o (but we have /usr/lib/crt1.o and /usr/lib/crtn.o) and have to compile GNU's ctr0.c. We would like to get GNU installed on the IRIS first before venturing to the Trace and Tolerant. Willie
