<The line-eater hit.--More--> I was playing the game that most roguists only dream about. I had two foods. I had rings that were so valuable I couldn't get them off my fingers. I was wielding my +1,+0 short bow firing crossbow bolts at an aquator, who I was protected from since I was wearing my -3 leather armor covered with a gold shield. I decided to quaff a potion. It told me I was warm all over. I quaffed another. I felt sick. Still another, my muscles started bulging. I looked at my strength; it was 14. I decided to quaff another potion. A cloak of darkness was around me. It was time to read a scroll. All it produced was a high pitced humming noise. A few turns later, something very interesting happened. I was immediatelyl surrounded by an endless number of invisible monsters called "it". These monsters sometimes took away a small amount of hit points and sometimes a lot. Then I decided to push > and was instantly put in a new dungeon with only it's. I threw a food at one of the it's and the veil of darkness lifted. And I was on my way to the amulet.
