While playing a version of 5.3 which has had the Nymph bug patch installed, a further bug appeared. I was hit by a Nymph, and she stole all three of my scare monster scrolls (the stealing of all three is a sure sign that we have hit the bug patch). I then noticed that my experience had been changed to now be the absurd value of 3/4010, or some such. Being now permanently stranded as a level three rogue (I'd have had to get to 8000 experience to even get to level four), I soon died. Is this screwing up experience points a problem with the Nymph bug patch, or was it the patch interfering with other patches in this particular version? (It is a party room per level version, plus other patches). If anyone else notices crazy experience levels after hitting the Nymph bug patch, please share the info with the net. I was recently hit with the Nymph bug also! I hit a Nymph on level 14. The program said she stole a short bow I had. However, all my scrolls and potions also disappeared and were replaced by 3 scrolls of scare monster. My level did not change, but I lost all my weapons for fighting the big monsters, and was soon killed by a phantom on the next level. I hope this is of help to fixing this awful bug.
