In GNU Emacs 18.52.3 of Sat Sep 10 1988 on ai (berkeley-unix) What is the best way of setting the last_window_start field of a buffer? Or can it be done? I want to make sure that a buffer gets displayed in a certain window position even before it has been displayed for the 1st time and it seems that this field is the one I need to set. -thanks, david
