Here are two questions for all of you rogue wizards:
1) at what level do i first have a chance to find the amulet of yendor?
and, if i miss it on one level, what is the possibility of it appearing
on the next level down, ect.
2) for some reason, everytime i get a good game going 4500+ i seem to
get killed by a black unicorn. know assuming i don't have anything
interesting, how do i kill it. ( last time, as in about 10 hours ago
from this posting, i was killed having about 55 hit points, a
+3,0 two handed sword, +7 enchanted armour, and strength of 20.
i didn't have any scrolls, or potions that would help, but when
i ran into it, i had a wand and a staff that i as yet hadn't
identified.
this applies to version 5.2 of rogue ----- and suggestions and hints
would be very much appreciated.
