[gnu.emacs.bug] X11R3 GNU emacs won't compile

GNU EMACS won't compile with X11R3 includes and libraries. It will
run on X11R3 if compiled for X11R2, so it is only a hassle for people
trying to bring it up on X11R3 systems.

It works fine for me.  What version of Emacs are you running?  18.52
should work just fine, out of the box.
