I am having trouble installing 18.53 on the Encore Multimax running Umax 4.2. It compiles fine, then I get a linker warning that sobuf has been redeclared. The temacs that is produced runs and is a 1.2MB binary. However, after loading in the lisp code and dumping to xemacs, I get a binary in excess of 6MB. It seems to run okay (tho I really haven't tested it a great deal). Can anybody explain why I am getting such a large binary?
