If one of my buffers has the mailarchive file in it and I send a msg that as a side effect adds to that file, two interesting things happen: the added msg immediately shows up in the buffer (nice) if I kill the buffer without saving it, the file on disk will NOT have the new msg in it (not so nice) Same thing seems to happen if I output msgs from an RMAIL file (``o'' command) to a file that emacs happens to be looking at in another buffer. Sounds like a systematic bug. R.
