This is kind of a trivial problem. I imagine it's been fixed already, but just in case it hasn't I thought I'd better tell you about it. I had a problem using the info command to look at the termcap entry from the dir menu (i.e. "C-h i mTermcap<RETURN>" failed). Something about no top node flashed in the minibuffer, but it happened to rapidly for me to get the exact message. I fixed the problem by changing the "^L^_" that preceeds the header for the top node in .../info/termcap to "^_^L". We are running a version 18.53 that was created by merging patches acquired from wsmr-simtel20.army.mil and prep.ai.mit.edu with 18.49 source from an FSF tape. Bob Stocker
