Well, the error said I should report this. Here it is; I don't know
what sore of extra info you need, but I'll answer anything I can.

-------Buffer *Backtrace* (from a debug-on-error)--------
Signalling: (wrong-type-argument listp #<EMACS BUG: ILLEGAL DATATYPE (#o37777777777) Save your buffers immediately and please report this bug>)
  start-process("sleep" nil "sleep" "150")
  (if ...)
  (save-excursion ...)
  connect-sentinel(no-connect "finished\n" #<killed buffer>)
  (condition-case ...)
  (let ...)
  connect(nil)
  eval-region(1 14 #<buffer *scratch*>)
  byte-code("\302\210\303\304 ^X\305\216\212\306	!\210\307\310!\210`)))`p#\207" [stab emacs-lisp-mode-syntax-table nil eval-region syntax-table ((byte-code "\301^H!\207" [stab set-syntax-table] 2)) set-syntax-table forward-sexp -1] 7)
  eval-print-last-sexp(nil)
* call-interactively(eval-print-last-sexp)
--------
I converted the meta-characters to their print forms for the sake of
mailers which would probably puke them out.
