Gnu version: 18.53 System: Sun 3/60 OS: SunOS 3.5 Problem: In outline mode, show-subtree and hide-subtree do not refresh the screen. Running "recenter" shows the expected expansion/contraction. When debugging, all seems to work well! It seems to occur in subst-char-in-region. I have temporarily worked around it by defining my own and invoking redraw-display.
