It would be nice to see (presumably in Emacs 19) an Emacs Lisp function x-set-title which allowed you to change the title of the window Emacs was running in. While we're at it, how about x-set-icon-name, too. < Stephen

Not to mention my most-wanted X11 function: x-set-iconic-state (so I could bind C-Z to (x-set-iconic-state t) and hack the server mode code to do a (x-set-iconic-state nil)). -- "I shall clasp my hands together and bow to the corners of the world."
