I am running GNU EMACS 18.52.5 Thu May 11 1989 on VAX/VMS A5.1-1 running on a VAX8600. Frequently, when the screen needs to be refreshed as in paging, the screen becomes garbelled, characters and blocks of characters are missing. This did not happen with a previous version of GNU EMACS. Any suggestions? Thanks very much. Fred Stanke Schlumberger-Doll Research
