I will be the first to admit that I'm not that good a rogue player, but what I need to know is how to kill a troll. When I get a good game going ( a good game for me ), I will never get very far when I hit heavy troll country. The game I just finished was in rogue 5.2, I had a +2 +1 mace 63hp 16str +4 ac4 leather armor when up walks a troll. In 5 hits I was dead. I didn't have any staff's ( staves? ) or wands, and the only ring I had was see invisible. What could I have done?? What does everyone else do to kill trolls in general?? I need to know in order to beter my game. My name is falling down the best scores list rather quickly these days. Any help would really be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Guy A.
