The Neutron Dog hit--More-- I posted a query about rings of sustain ability, asking what abilities does it sustain. The only answer I've seen is "all" abilities, which doesn't help much (I mean it DOES SAY "sustain ability"). Maybe I should have said, "what is an ability?" or "what is not an ability?" Is Strength an ability? (I would guess, yes). How about Hit Points? (I would guess, no) I just quaffed a potion of regeneration. I am pretty sure it raised my Constitution, and I think (but am not positive) that this is supposed to be a temporary effect. I now regain a lost hit point with every move I take. If I put on that ring, will that effect become permanent? (I wouldn't guess either way on that) Suppose I quaff a potion of haste self and then put on the ring. Would I be permanently hasted? My strength is now at 11 (14 max). If I put on the ring and later quaff a potion of restore strength, will my strength stay at eleven? All replies welcome, via net or mail. -- --Neutron Dog!
