Is anyone successfully using the old XMenu package with emacs on a Sun 4/60 (SPARCstation)? I compiled emacs 18.54 with cc, and got no complaints about anything. All the other mouse operations (cut, paste, split, etc) work fine, but if I try to pop up a menu with ctrl-shift-left or ctrl-shift-middle, everything seems to "lock up" (no menu, no keystrokes are recognized, no nothing) in the emacs window. Also, I tried compiling emacs 18.54 with gcc-1.36 on a SPARC, using gcc -g -traditional everything compiled, but temacs died a horrible death while trying to create the DOC file. Is this one of the incompatibilities mentioned in the README file? -- Ed Anselmo anselmo-ed@cs.yale.edu {harvard,decvax}!yale!anselmo-ed

Upgrade to the current release of emacs (18.55) where this bug is fixed...
