I am using Gnu Emacs 18.54.2 in text-mode with no mocklisp programs loaded by me. The following example causes M-e to fail foo. bar. There is whitespace after foo. Placing the mark directly after foo. and typing M-e moves forward to the end of the white space, instead of the the end of the bar. sentence. This contradicts the definition of M-e on page 123 of the gemacs manual. Killing the blank line eliminates the problem. elisha.
