Dear sir,

As part of their third, and final, year course at the French Engineering
School "Ecole Nationale Superieure des Telecommunications de Bretagne"
(ENSTBr), the students specializing in computer science have to do a project
for a period ranging from four to six months.

ENSTBr trains engineers up to what would correspond to M.Eng. level in
various aspects of telecommunications, electronics, and computer science.
Before entering ENSTBr, the students have taken a two or three year course
in Post High School advanced math and physics classes .

Furthermore, the school offers a thorough training in both economics and
foreign languages: it is compulsory to study at least two languages, one of
which must be English.

More specifically, the computer science training covers several fields,
such as:

       - Networks and distributed systems.
       - Artificial intelligence ( the students use the main A.I. tools,
including LISP, PROLOG and expert system generators ).
       - Advanced programming methods (Using languages such as
                 ADA, EIFFEL, SMALLTALK ).
       - Software engineering.
       - Parallel architectures.
       - Operating systems (UNIX).

The project is fixed by an agreement between the school and the company,
and should be viewed as an actual first engineering job. Its aim is primarily
to enable the student to synthesize his/her knowledge, and to prove his/her
ability to put them into practice.

Each project is supervised by one person from the company and a teacher
from ENSTBr. At the end of his/her training period the student will have to
write a report which he/she shall have to defend orally before a jury, made
up of the industrial supervisor, the academic supervisor from ENSTBr and a
public of interested lecturers.

Recently I have read the GNU Manifesto in an GNU Emacs manual. When I read
the paragraph "How You Can Contribute", I thought ,that perhaps some student
can be hire by you
