hi - i just rebuilt my emacs 18.55 on my decstation-3100 to preload some more lisp files. Now, I get ``bad address'' messages when I execute xemacs from a TTY (works from an X display). It actually changes based on the termcap type I'm using. H19 is fine, vt100 causes it to barf on a free() in the termcap library, claiming that a previously freeded item is being freed again. I suspect that part of the problems might be the unexec; for example, from a single load, ``xemacs'' didn't work but ``emacs-18.55.19'' did, although they were allegedly the same file. Has anyone seen something similar on the DS3100 & found a fix? Dirk Grunwald -- Univ. of Colorado at Boulder (grunwald@foobar.colorado.edu) (grunwald@boulder.colorado.edu)
