Hello,
I am writing because I have been unable to figure out something.
When I go into *shell* all the returns are shown as ^M's. For
example,
------------------
% w
w
9:57am up 13 days, 17:01, 2 users, load average: 0.08, 0.02, 0.01
User tty login@ idle JCPU PCPU what
dodd ttyp0 9:05am 1 emacs
%
------------------
Is there some way to turn this off?
Also, I recently got a copy of GDB 3.4 because I am interested in
a FORTRAN debugger. As I am sure you are aware, dbx sucks eggs while
xdbx sucks big goose eggs. I was wondering if your work towards a
FORTRAN debugger and compiler is serious? That is, I think anything
would be an improvement over f77 and dbx and that there are many
people agree with me and would be thrilled to switch over to GDB and a
GNU FORTRAN compiler.
