I get a strange interaction in a shell window, running sh or bash. If I rsh to another machine (including my own), then when I exit the remote shell, I get a "Connection closed" message, but the rsh doesn't exit. If I tickle the rsh with, say, ~ RET, it then reports its ding and (another) "Connection closed". Under csh, the close happens right away fine. Looks like bash is managing to emulate one more thing right, but it looks like a possible bug ...
