I have been trying to compile emacs recently on an Altos 386/2000 running Xenix Sys V. I defined "s-xenix" and "m-intel386" and the program seems to compile with no problems whatsoever. However, as soon as I try to run the darn thing, I get : error (11) memory fault As far as my C programming goes, I am pretty much confined to elementary problems at this point. That is why I could use some help in getting this thing running. If you are familiar with this hardware configuration or similar configurations and have successfully compiled GNU Emacs I'd like to hear from you. BTW: We have 16 meg. in the system so space is not the problem. -- Michael R. Johnston - @NET: mikej@cpmain.uucp ...{cmcl2!phri!,uunet!}dasys1!cpmain!mikej || ...philabs!mergvax!cpmain!mikej
