We seem to be having a few problems with ftp-find-file and ftp-write-file. 1) All files are found read-only: is this reasonable behaviour ? 2) C-x C-s fails when attempting to write the file to /tmp/<something> with the message Error opening output file: no such file or directory "/tmp/" Stepping though with the debugger seems to show write-region as receiving a garbage filename from tmp within ftp-write-file. This is not a consistent problem. 3) Having written a file back, other ftp buffers sometimes end up having their read-only status toggled back to read-only. Again, this is intermittent.
