When entering a trading post in 2.0, try to have two or three worthless items on you to fill up your pack. (meaning the letters should go up to v) Arrows and rocks are good for this. Then, once inside try to buy anything you can afford, and it will tell you what it is, but it won't let you buy it. by the price you can usually tell if it's blessed or cursed. Then drop the arrows and rocks and buy the good stuff.
